The difference between content that’s ignored and content that converts

Whether you’re writing newsletters, social posts, or web copy, the messages, language, and imagery you choose can turn people away — or move them to donate, volunteer, and act. In this lively, facilitated workshop you’ll learn practical, immediately usable strategies and practise them with your peers.

 In three hours you will:

  • Cut the jargon, buzzwords, and catastrophe framing that make audiences switch off

  • Balance emotional and rational appeals — stories that are human, specific, and backed by the right data

  • Apply proven story frameworks, audience-centric messaging, and concrete calls to action

  • Work through real before-and-after messaging makeovers: vague to clear, complex to simple, jargon to human

  • Study how Patagonia, Oatly, Tillamook, and Reformation create sustainability content that lands

You’ll leave with a checklist of strategies and a resource kit to keep building for months afterwards.

Built for: communications, marketing, and engagement professionals across corporate sustainability, government, universities, and nonprofits — anyone who needs their audience to do something, not just know something.
