matters related to the Society's overall governance. It includes a subcommittee for Nominations.
Engagement
Committee
This committee focuses on programming outside the annual conference and enhances member engagement within NSS year-round. The group meets quarterly, while sub-committees meet monthly to work independently. They seek individuals who enjoy working with data and connecting with people—those who can identify engagement patterns and translate them into actionable strategies. If you're passionate about sustainable growth and want to have a meaningful impact on NSS, they welcome your involvement.
Fundraising
Committee
This committee drives NSS's financial foundation by securing sponsorships, grants, and strategic partnerships. They are looking for active members with experience in prospect outreach, campaign strategy, grant writing, and donor stewardship. It's a hands-on way to fuel the resources NSS needs to survive and thrive. If you're positioned to help NSS secure its long-term impact, apply!
Conference
Committee
This committee is responsible for convening a successful and enriching engagement opportunity that both serves the needs of members (current and new), and meets the NSS mission and values. Members of this committee develop the event theme, format, and offerings; review contributions and develop sessions; and advertise the conference widely.
Awards
Committee
Solicits, reviews, and selects recipients of a set of annual awards, presented at each year's annual conference.
